SNFLEX is Simple Project’s line of upflush toilets. They usually cost less than the best-known brand and add a couple of features we like. Here’s how the lineup breaks down.

The lineup

ModelBest for
Two-piece 500WSimple half baths, short runs
Two-piece 600WMost basement bathrooms: toilet, sink, maybe a shower
Two-piece 750WLonger or higher runs, full baths
One-piece 600WA cleaner look in tighter spaces
One-piece slim tankVery tight closets and under-stair baths
19″ tall 600WComfort height for older homeowners

What we like

  • Extra inlets on the two-piece pumps for a sink and shower
  • Soft-close lid and a choice of pump sizes
  • Replacement pumps are sold on their own, so a worn pump doesn’t mean a whole new toilet
  • Price: usually less than the big-name alternative

What to keep in mind

  • Like every macerating toilet, it needs power and a proper vent
  • Pick the pump size for your actual run. Don’t guess.
  • Some models go on backorder, so check stock before you schedule an install
